Opening a Can of Worms?
For those that have been reading here for even a short while will know that our daughter has shown a talent for photography. This came as a huge surprise. I discovered her talent accidentally while downloading her images from a recent visit to the Biltmore House.
After not-so-lengthy discussions with her mother, we bought Jess her own digital camera for her birthday. But that was not enough in her eyes. She wanted a venue to display her work to the public.
After a lot more discussion and gnashing of teeth we've allowed Jessie to have her own blog. It's not much to look at now but I have a feeling that she'll eventually draw more traffic to her site than this one. Oh, how they grow so fast.
We have two rules: mom or dad have to approve each entry and she can never exchange e-mails with someone that comments on her blog. If you have a question for Jessie then send it via here. Our blog will eventually be very prominent on her site.
So enjoy the journal of a young photographer. Show her some love and I promise she'll show you some back. Keep in mind that it's still under construction.

WooHoo!!!!! Can I be the second to join her blogroll? :) I know that she will pester me enough to post more than once a month *blushing smilie*
Awesome!! I think that is a great idea.
Oh, and you know I met Josh online when we were 14. Watch out! LMAO.
Wait, make that 13. Oops.
VERY cool picture!
I look forward to seeing her pictures...
Good luck keeping weirdos off her blog though. You know they're out there. Keep a watchful eye my friend.
Josh sounds like a pretty good catch but Kimmy just made me shiver.
Is that one of her photos? No wonder where she gets that artistic talent from Bennie. You must be so proud.
I teach highschool and fwiw I will give my opinion. Jess seems like a smart and responsible young woman. You have explained the expectations to her and , I assume also your fears. Yes there are some people in the world to be feared but with your guidance, and her own good sense, I think Jess will be safe.
