Down and Dirty

Interestingly I see backlash coming from where I didn't expect it. Here is Steve's opinion and Connie's opinion about last night's interview. If you don't make the connection they are a couple. Steve is blind but has overcome that obstacle and is currently a professor at THE Ohio State University. I think you Buckeye fans who frequent here will appreciate the proper name of said school.

Steve has expressed his opinion within his own blog. I have no problem with it other than the fact that he did exactly what Nancy Grace and other news agencies have done with Ashley's story. He handpicked some phrases and words out of the context of my interview with Paula to express his/their opinion on the issue. Sorry Buckeye friends but Steve should know better than to use this exaggeration tactic. He also thinks I'm an "angry man." Well Professor Steve makes himself look like a fool for doing this.

Connie, on the other hand, is not so diplomatic. She can't even decide how to spell my name even though it's been plastered all over the internet. Her tactic was to visit this blog and use my emotional post from last night to her advantage without my knowledge or permission. Now I do know that being a part of the blogosphere means folks can use this info I post here as fodder but the ethical way to do it would be to ask permission to do so. She first questions my use of the phrase "down and dirty" and then visits all of my blog friends to disparage me and my point of view.

I ask you once again, Connie. Who is playing "down and dirty"? Some words come to mind...imbecile, uneducated...

****UPDATE****

Connie responded to my comment last night and continued to use some of my words and thoughts out of context. I responded again this morning to further clarify how she was continuing to use misinformation for her gain. She subsequently deleted my post. I therefore left her this comment:

In the interest of playing fair I honestly didn't expect you to delete my rebuttal from this morning. Since this is the case I will ask you to please refrain from lifting anything off of my blog in the future, copying it, posting it, or even referring to it without my expressed permission at this blog or any others. I will likewise do the same for you. You have proven that you will take someone else's words out of context and embellish them for your prurient purposes. I will posting a copy of this comment at my site to make folks aware of the fact that you are on notice of copyright infringement.

If anyone knows of or sees Connie using anything published at this blog you can assume that she DOES NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO DO SO and I would very much appreciate being informed about it. It is unfortunate that I've had to take such a drastic measure but it is in the best interests of me and my family. Personally I think the woman is a headcase and I think it's best to leave her alone.

LOL @ 'THE'.

Well, the only thing that comes to mind is something my momma always said--
"People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones".

I've read through a lot of your posts and I give you all the credit in the world for how you are raising your son. He is sooo cute and my first initial reaction to Ben was-I wanna rub his chubby little arms and squeeze his cheeks together and kiss on 'em. LOL. He's adorable. The love that comes through on your videos makes my heart melt.

I wish I had seen the interview. I'm gonna go through archives and try to find it on CNN.

My best to you and your beautiful family Ben.

I watched your interview after reading all of your own personal reactions to how you felt things went. I think you did wonderfully, you have an absolute right to defend your position and above else you are a wonderful father, the love you have for handsome little Ben is so apparent in your eyes-down and dirty or not.
I really do believe that the only reason someone has to say mean things is because they are insecure with their own lives.
