On the Fifth Day of Christmas
We Southern folk extend continued warm wishes to you and your family this Holiday season. This little Christmas card comes courtesy of my sis-in-law. Ironically her name is Carole! Here in the Palmetto State of South Carolina we hope for a blessed 2009 for all of our friends and loved ones across the Blogosphere (I'm thinking that is what John Lennon meant by "Across the Universe").

I've been silently following your blog over the past year. I just wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers have been with your little family. I pray that all is well.
I would love to spend a Christmas in a state where there were palm trees and sunshine and people said y'all.
I miss that.
