Today's Workout Brought to You by The Stander
Until I can muster enough energy in my brain to detail this past weekend I'll let you visit with Ben for a spell. The piece of equipment he is strapped into is called appropriately enough, a stander. Ben spends about 4 to 5 hours a week in this thing and we have to admit it really works. We have seen remarkable progress in our son's posture and strength, particularly with his head control.
Ben has a tendency to lean his head to his right while concentrating on certain objects including television or even riding in a car seat. We don't know why this is but we do know it is not for the lack of neck and upper back strength. To the uninitiated observer it can be quite disconcerting and to be honest, after 8 years we are still bothered by it for the same reason you might be: it looks uncomfortable. Evidently it isn't for him. That is what we call "adapting" in the world of exceptional people.

Thankfully I was able to view this video. Bless his heart he's a hard worker that's for sure!!
And a chatterbox!!
Bless his heart I just wanna snuggle that boy!
I honestly don't know why you're not getting to see the others. Maybe try 'em again?
I loooooove to hear you talk to Ben. And to hear him too! Sounds just like Simon (who is under the weather)
YAY on the awesome show! Can't wait to hear all about it!
He is a hard worker, and a better sport than I would be, I'm afraid.
You guys rock!
Ben seems to really like his stander. That's pretty cool. Way to go Ben!
I found myself smiling and saying, 'good job!' as I watched this. My 20 month old, however, simply said, 'Nemo!!' :)
What a trooper he is! And I swear I can hear his southern accent when he talks.
