Ill and Whatnot
Me and Jessie are home today with two separate ailments. Her throat looks like she swallowed a cardinal which left the feathers and talon marks to prove it. We're praying for some type of non-strep variety of bug. I was up dancing the Porcelain Polka most of the night. The good news is that I'm well under way toward losing that extra ten pounds I've gained since the festival season ended last fall.
The bad news is that Me and Miss Messica can hear Ben yelling for us downstairs. Do you know how heart-wrenching it is for us to try and ignore his pleas to come play? Fortunately Nurse Jenny is here and is doing our nurses' typical excellent job.
As soon as I can get some strength into my trembling legs I guess I'll get to work on those paintings Ben wants finished. In the mean time I ran across a wonderful blog entry today. My friend The Curmudgeon of "Second Effort" always has prose worth reading. I've throughly enjoyed perusing his blog for bits of fun and wisdom over the past few months. Today's entry is especially thoughtful. It will be worth your time to read it.

Interesting read---
Thanks Bennie. I just got to this.
I have now added dancing the Porecelain Polka to my list of euphenisms... such as driving the porcelain bus...
