Brrr...it's COLD!

I fully expect some snickers from some of you folks reading this. That giggling you're about to hear will coming from above the Mason-Dixon line. Just a few days ago I wore shorts for my daily trek around the block to escort Jessie home from school. Tomorrow I might have to wear long-johns.

Yep, we're about to get our first taste of Winter weather this evening. Lows in the 20s with a child chill down to single digits. Tomorrow we get the chill of 40 degree temps. Go ahead Redneck Mommy. You too Tsukismom. Oh and of course The Curmudgeon should really get a big kick out of this post. Enjoy the humor while I go put on another pair of socks.

On a more serious note, we have our fingers crossed. Ben has been sleeping most of the day. In fact Miss Kristy (his teacher) and Jenny (nurse) couldn't get him awake at school. That is the first time that's ever happened. The day-long sleep can indicate that he's coming down with something. Me, Jessie, and my mother (Me-Ma) have all had a 2-day virus in the past week. Please keep Ben in your thoughts and prayers tonight.

We're supposed to hit the low 40s tonight but that's bone chilling for Central Florida. If you get moving on that knitting then you'll have lots of socks to keep you cozy! I'll keep Ben in my prayers that whatever it is just kinda goes away and that there are no ill effects on his health!
