Hello to everyone! I have to admit that I've been aggravated with Dad this week. Both days I was awake and ready to go to school but for some reason I didn't get to go. Yesterday I heard Dad tell Miss Vickie that he was "having a Monday." Well, yeah! That's exactly what it was! I did hear him say he was up most of Sunday night with sinus stuff. I do know what that is like so I'll cut him some slack for yesterday.
Now this morning he went somewhere to talk to somebody about a "job." I know that he has been working hard on his paintings but I hope he's not going to spend as much time away from me as my Mom has the past few months. I also know that he was happy when he got home but then he had a long talk with me this afternoon. He said that he would be working somewhere else during the evenings over the next few months but he was happy that he could be at home during the days so I could continue school and my therapies.
The big excitement around here has been Jessie's hamster getting loose. I don't really know what a hamster is. All I know about it is that my Mom has warned Jessie "not to get that rat near Ben." I'm really confused because I've heard my Mom say that my Dad is a rat sometimes. I didn't think anything about it until I realized Mom and Dad were worried that our cat, Layla, would do something bad to the hamster. Do you think our cat is going to do something to Dad? I hope not.
Oh yeah! Big news!!! I get my new wheelchair tomorrow! I'll be sure to show you some pictures tomorrow night! I'm getting real pumped up for that.
