A New Painting by Ben & Bennie! Finally!

Finally the first collaborative painting of 2008!

Title: "Golden Horse"

Description: This is an 8" x 10" acrylic painting on panel (standard frame size). Ben again did most of the work on this painting! I outlined the shape and filled in some of the blank areas. The gold and mauve colors in the horse's face are metallic paints which means they are reflective. It looks really cool in a bright sunny area!

Price: $40 which includes shipping.

To purchase this painting please e-mail me at benwaddell@bellsouth.net . We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, and personal checks.

This one could've easily turned into another heart painting which is probably what he intended. If you look at the overall composition it looks like the shape of a heart. Ben has gotten pretty good at making that shape.

I just happened to look at it differently last weekend while working on some abstract horse paintings.

I really like this one. The metallic paint looks incredible and changes colors depending on the time of day.

Oops. I also meant to add that Jessie said it looks like a horse standing at the fence waiting to either be scratched or fed an apple. I think she "got it."

I definitely see the heart too. He's a very sweet horse, I do like that contrasting paint.

Keep in the back of your mind, that if Ben wants to, I'd love one more 8x10 flower painting to put with Simon's Flowerpot. :)

I love the colors in this! I wondered how you guys collaborated - now I see - very cool!
You guys make me want to put aside the planned-out painting I'm working on and paint doodl-ish skies and abstractions - it looks like such fun!
