It is mayhem here in the Waddell household. Please believe me when I tell you that I've not been procrastinating in preparation for this weekend. We are just like every one of you in that there are so many family obligations some of them have to be put aside until necessary.
Ben is definitely prepared. I packed up his paints and supplies last night but I'm approaching this like I would a show. I spent most of the afternoon and evening printing giclees of our work to sell tomorrow and we now have 12 sets of note cards to offer as well. Joan has been busy getting posters ready to display which include the title of our blog, PKS Kids (with a description), and pictures of me and Ben working.
We have a slide show ready with music to play in the background that will rotate with Jane Robelot's piece from July. I have art supplies and samples ready to display on our tables. We've yet to pick out Ben's outfit (and a back up since he tends to throw up when he's nervous). And here I am blogging just to tell you what we have left.
With that said I think we'll have a marvelous time! We're carrying the camera to capture as much as possible. I wouldn't expect much from us tomorrow but who knows? Send some good thoughts our way. We'll need them!
