Ben's first look at his new toy: a giant replica of Dale Earnhardt, Jr.'s car from this past weekend's race. It's the one with the special "cammo" colors. I'm thinking since DEI now has an opening for next season Ben might like a try at it. Think he's excited about the prospect?

- Ben is a wonderfully happy 18-year-old boy. He has a rare genetic disorder scientifically known as Tetrasomy 12p. The related syndrome is called Pallister-Killian Syndrome (PKS). As for me (Bennie, the dad), I'm a 1986 graduate of Furman University with a BA in fine Art. Married to my wife Joan for 24 years, we have two children; a daughter named Jessie and our son Ben. It is our desire that this blog not only provide need fundraising for Make-A-Wish South Carolina but to also give you inspiration, hope, joy, and insight for your own journey in life.
