On the Palette

Cadmium Orange: Y'all please read and do what's in your heart about linking to Lauren's mother's blog in the previous post. I have such a huge heart to give to these beautiful children. Lauren is just an absolutely gorgeous child. A lady wanting to sell us new gutters and siding came to the door earlier this evening. She saw Ben sleeping but still held his hand and wasn't afraid. Maybe it was her business savy? I don't know. We talked for awhile about my Ben adn the kids like him. They have so much to give back regardless of what they might understand. She wanted to "pat me on the back" but it's the determination of children like Ben that needs to be expressed so loudly that it hurts some folks ears for them to finally understand.

Brilliant Purple: Ben slept through school for the most part today. He's not sick and we're very thankful. He's getting his days and nights mixed up again. What made my heart melt was entering the classroom this morning and hearing one of Ben's classmates go nuts wanting my attention. M. was so very excited to here my voice! I hugged him and kissed him which pacified him until I had to take Ben home. I would carry each and every one of Ben's classmates home if I had the chance. I LOVE THEM SO VERY MUCH! I am weepy just thinking about M. right now.

Raw Sienna: Unfortunately I have situation at school that has become increasingly frustrating. It pretty much sucks when you try to make amends with someone (even when you were right to begin with) and for whatever reason every attempt backfires. To make the situation worse it involves some folks I honestly care about. So it is according to their wishes I changed the way this short blurb was originally worded although it was completely unnecessary.

Permanent Blue Light: I'm making a list of songs I need to learn to get back into playing guitar. I force-fed Nurse Lisa today with my Sirius satellite hook-up. I can't believe she doesn't want ANY snow here in the South! Wimp.

Playing on the 8-track: 3 Doors Down.

Not a Wimp!!! Just smart enough to move far enough south to still get seasons w/o the hassles of snow!! ;)

And you know that I wasn't "force-fed", I love music of all genres! (I was originally a music major in college)
