About Last Night

I think there should be a bit more clarification about my post last night and I hope I'm not beating a dead horse but there was zero comments throughout the day. Perhaps there's a wound to pick at or maybe folks are tired of reading/hearing about Michael Richard's melt-down a few days ago? I don't know. Truly I want this blog to be a place for people to come to learn about Ben and children like him. I want visitors to accept those with special needs as they would anyone else they meet in their random comings and goings.

I also think it is acceptable to voice your displeasure or disagreement in regards to whatever you read here. If you are a jerk then, yeah, your comment will be deleted. It's happened once already.

This is not a political forum and maybe that prevented folks from commenting. This is a people forum! Your views, questions, and thoughts are more than welcome. I will do the best to answer or respond as best I can.

Today I was thinking about tonight's blog post. I find these thoughts interesting:
1. Every child in my son's class bleeds the same color.
2. Every child in my son's class has the same color poop & pee.
3. Every child in my son's class has saliva that is colorless.
4. Every child in my son's class has the same color of snot.
4. Every child in my son's class will accept my love no matter what my skin color might be.

The picture is of Justin, Ben's best friend! This was last year about this time.

And therein we're taught the most important lesson we can learn as human beings...
